TOP COMMENT : anonymous user,

“Said they were with Capital One, but called about 10 times a day all week. Answered another time and would not confirm my name. This time I told the person they were on the internet as a harassing collector of old old debt trying to scare people into paying. He said for sure he was with Capital One. I have several good standing CapitalOne accts and this is not them. I asked if he was directly an employee with Capital One and he wouldn't really answer. I told him I was ending the call.A similar company (maybe the same) called and scared my sister in law with terminal cancer who is trying to put her house in order so to speak into paying them around $100 and got her bank number! ”

Actually called at 8:17am on Sunday morning. Also call non-stop during the week. Seems to be no way to convince them to stop.

Have been called four times and person have never heard of asked for. Was especially angry when they called while visiting family in hospital intensive care unit. Today lady stopped mid -call, said had “forgot” to tell that call was being recorded, and did clarify that is a collection agency
